William Kirk

July 05, 1917 - April 13, 2006

age 88 of Ross Twp., died on Thurs. 4-13-2006 in UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Twp. He was born in Pittsburgh on 7-15-1917 son of the late William N. And Pearl Kirk. William was a captain of the Army Air Corp during World War II, and was a Sheet-metal worker for Pittsburgh Public Schools for over 30 years.
Beloved husband of Ruth Bower Kirk. Loving father of Karen Wilks of Clinton Twp., and William N. Kirk of Ross Twp. Grandfather of Brian and Shannon Wilks and William Jr., Jason and Jonathon Kirk.
Visitation Monday 2-4, 7-9 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. Where services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM, with Pastor Michael Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Johns Eve. Lutheran Church.
