Todd Alan Russ

Age 58, of Emsworth, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 31, 2020. Born Dec. 18, 1961, son of the late Frank Robert Russ and Patricia Ann Numer. He was preceded in death by his dear friend, David Connelly. He is survived by his brother Robert R. Russ and partner, Edie Valencia, nieces Zoe and Kira Nishimura-Russ and their mother, Maki Nishimura-Russ. He is also survived by many loving extended family and friends.

Professionally, Todd worked as a System/Web Project Administrator at Advantage Credit Counseling Service and was Owner/Photographer/Artistic Director of Dragonfly Artz. Todd found solace in the arts, where he connected with other artists who would go on to be his lifelong friends. He was a dear brother, devoted uncle, and a true friend to many; imaginative, thoughtful, kind, ingenious, and caring. He had a love of animals, nature, architecture, small towns and out-of-the-way places… …anything that caught his eye was often skillfully captured in his photography. His love and creative spirit will be dearly missed.

Family and friends are welcome Wednesday, August 5th from 4-7 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 8th at 11 am at Union Dale Cemetery, where Todd will be buried with his mother. (Enter at the stone gate on the corner of Brighton Road and Marshall Avenue)

Todd, such a gentle, kind soul.
You’ll always make me think that when the world seems harsh, divided and sad. There are people like you who made the world better, through kindness, generosity and love. The gifts that make life beautiful and worth living. Until we meet again my friend.
My deepest sympathy to all Todd’s family and friends.
