Teresa Chih-May Lee 汪治美, 69, passed away on July 21, 2024, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Teresa (Terri) was born on January 14, 1955 in Taipei, Taiwan, to Arthur Wong 汪克鑫 and Janet Wong 汪許德培. She was loved by siblings Stanley Wong, Cathy Lee (deceased), Thomas Wong, and Wendy Wong.
Teresa graduated from Princeton High School in 1973 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s of Science from Rutgers University in 1977. She started her career as a nutritionist and dedicated her life to serving special needs children.
Teresa married Wei-Ping Andrew Lee on August 10, 1980 in Princeton, NJ. The couple has three children: Jonathan Lee, Jacqueline Lee, and Joshua Lee.
Teresa was best known for her generosity, her ability to make excellent food seemingly without effort, and her advocacy for special needs children. She was admired for her quintessential good taste and style. She loved horses, disco dancing, and Chinese folk dance. Above all, she was elegant yet down-to-earth, and her outgoing personality immediately put others at ease.
Memorial donations can be made in Teresa’s name to Achieva (https://bit.ly/IMOTeresaLee), to fund an annual scholarship for people with special needs.

Charlotte and I are so very saddened by Terri’s passing. We have wonderful memories of this sweet and lovely woman from our professional meetings in New England. We’ve known Andy for more than 30 years. What a terrific couple. A sadness that should have never occurred. We send our deepest condolences.8
Terri was so brave and strong and an inspiration how to be.
There is no one like her. She was special — so beautiful and compassionate and caring.
When I had my own diagnosis of breast cancer several years ago she was very supportive. She was a true friend and confidante.
She was so much fun to be with! She made us laugh all the time with true stories of things that happened to her that she would turn into joke monologues. She had a great sense of humor!
In the short time I knew her, we did a lot of things together. We went to Lilly Dale near Erie. While there, we got reprimanded by one of the “healers” because I took a forbidden picture which the “healer” made me delete any way.
We went to yoga and Chi Gong classes, antique shopping ,and lots of fun things.
I will miss her. I am heart broken.
May she rest in peace in the arms of the angles and watch over Jonathon and her family.
My deepest sympathy to Terri’s entire family.
Helga and I send our deepest condolences and prayers for solace at this difficult time. We will remember Terri as a beautiful and vibrant soul. Scott and Helga Levin

It truly saddens us to hear about Aunt Terri’s passing. Her determination and strength to fight cancer and will power has truly inspired us and our children. We will miss her dearly but hope she can finally rest and be away from pain.
Dear Teresa, my apology for not able to say farewell in person. Su Jin, Oliver & Michelle, Tiffany will bid farewell on my behalf. Your smile and beauty will be in our memory till we meet again. Please enjoy Mom’s loving care once again. Don’t let Dad tell you what to do and may you rest in peace with them.
With deep sorrow and loving memory of my dear sister Teresa.
I remain,
Thomas
