Heather (Shoub) Dills, age 76, of Franklin Park, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Sherwood Oaks retirement community in Cranberry. She was born and grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of Earle Shoub and Margaret (McCarroll) Shoub. She was the beloved wife of John H. Dills for 51 years of marriage, a devoted mother to Jesse and Ben Dills, and a loving sister to Casey Shoub and Linda Nippert. She graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a degree in technical writing and spent her career as a technical writer and office administrator. She was a leader in the school and church communities, being a member of the North Allegheny PTA and holding multiple roles as a member of Wexford Presbyterian Church. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, restoring furniture, and reading mysteries, historical fiction, and science. At Sherwood Oaks, she spent her time supporting the theater group and playing with her grandchildren, Tommy, Allie, and Bobby. Any memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association.
