Age 77, of Wexford passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Loving mother of Richard E. Jones (Lisa) and Karen E, Jackson (Ryan); Proud grandmother of Megan E. Jones and loving Ouch of William E. Jackson II, Jameson R. Jackson and Elizabeth L. Jackson; Sister of Edward Tkatch (Deanna) of Salem Ohio; Also survived by loving friends and relatives. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. Funeral services will be held at North Hills Christian Church, 778 Thompson Run Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15237 Thursday 10:30AM. Born in Ambridge PA, Shirley spent four decades as a labor and delivery nurse and a lactation consultant at Passavant and Magee-Womens hospitals, helping countless mothers and babies through their first years of life. Shirley was also known for her amazing cooking, her ability to throw a great party and her infectious laugh. Shirley loved her church and was always willing to offer a kind and wise word to anyone in need of that.

Loving thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Shirley Jones. Shirley was my cousin and I first met her the year I graduated from high school back in 1978. I wish I had kept in closer contact with her. God hold you in his arms. Love, Valerie and Lawrence Wheeler
I was sad to hear of Shirley’s passing but she is now with her heavenly family. I remember good memories when we were children. I wish that I could have known the adult . I will cherish the pictures sent from cousin Ed.
I only had the privilege of serving with Mrs Shirley for many months before COVID came. She loved helping us make kits for young girls in other countries. She loved her Savior and everyone she meet. Her faith was deep and wide. We will miss her.

We have lost a beautiful friend, inside and out, spent many days ( years) at NHPH, 2 nd floor with Shirley. Had many lunches, dinners and crafting sessions, her needlework skills were just perfect, I still have 2 crossstitch pieces that she gifted me, during some tumultuous times in my life. Rest In Peace my, dear friend, you in the arms of our Creator.
I knew Shirley for 50 years. She always had a smile and a great sense of humor. What great memories Heaven is richer because Shirley is there with the Lord she loved
I cherish the friendship we had. Shirley was unique in her kindness and caring with humor unending. My love and prayers from Florida for her dear family.
