Of McCandless Twp. On Monday, April 4, 2022. Born November 13, 1967 in Pittsburgh, Pa, son of Audrey (Klein) Fahrney and the late Elmer Fahrney. Beloved husband of Lori (Bell) Fahrney; loving stepfather of Rebecca, Kristan, William and Megan Aul; beloved brother of Terry Fahrney (Lee) and Dawn Frye (Larry); proud grandfather of Oakley; beloved uncle to Amanda Moore (Brett), Jessica Lohr (Jason), Bryan Frye (Katie), and Justin Frye.

Rob was an avid lover of the outdoors and spent much of his time camping and hiking. His love for the outdoors brought out his free spirit that defined him. He loved the outdoors so much, he even made a career out of it building ponds and beautifully created waterfalls. He was an enthusiastic Pittsburgh sports fan, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates. Rob had a deep love and appreciation for music. Some of his best past times were attending concerts and enjoying the company of his many friends. He was a proud dog dad to his best buddies Leia and Jack. Rob will always be remembered for his kindness, love and compassion he shared with everyone he met.

“Sometimes we live no particular way but our own” – The Grateful Dead

In lieu of a service, a celebration of life will be scheduled in Rob’s honor in May 2022. More information will be shared with family and friends that would like to attend at a further date.
