Roberta “Bobbie” Ann Hengler, age 71, of McCandless Township, passed away peacefully in her home on January 31, 2024. A loving wife to her devoted husband of over 47 years, a compassionate mother to her daughters, and a vital presence in her siblings’ lives, she valued and cherished family immensely.

A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, she excelled in her chosen field as Director of Human Resources. In her later years, she returned to her true passion in the creative arts, surrounding herself with music, literature, and writing through all of her days. Through this passion, she rediscovered her innate talent with a guitar and found a community who quickly became a circle of true friends.

Always a vibrant, charismatic, and caring woman, she made strong connections everywhere she went and will not only be missed greatly by those close to her, but by all who have crossed paths with her along the way.

Bobbie Ann is survived by her husband, W. Christopher Hengler; her two daughters, Lauren (Nick) Neigh, Jessica L. Hengler; her sister, Diane (Wayne) Hartman; her brother, Larry (Jean) Kolarik; numerous nieces and nephews; and her ever loyal canine companion, Dusty Rose.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jenny Mae & Robert Kolarik.

Family and friends are welcome on Friday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Blessing Service will be held Saturday at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Bobbie’s name to a charity of ones choice.
