Age 74, of West View, PA, after a long illness, Rosemary passed away peacefully on January 29, 2024. By everyone who knew her, Rose will always be remembered as the sweetest, kindest and most gentle person they ever met. Throughout all the challenges she faced, Rose never complained and always had a ready smile and a kind word.
Prior to her retirement, Rose worked for the PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. She loved movies and sports, especially the Pirates and Penguins.
Rosemary is survived by her loving siblings, Catherine Brunner, Robert Brunner (Carol) and Thomas Brunner. She also leaves behind her cherished nephew and nieces, Robert Brunner (Emily), Chelsea Brunner, Sarah McSorley (Aaron) and Monica Brunner, as well as her adoring great nephew and nieces, Laila Williams, Samuel Brunner, Natalie Williams and Ella Brunner. Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Brunner, as well as many beloved friends.
Family and friends may be received at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Highway, Pittsburgh, PA 15229 on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church, 800 Avila Court, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Mission, P.O. Box 232, David, KY 41616.

I remember Rosemary as a gentle soul. Mom (your mother’s cousin Peg Lachendro) always loved talking to her about the Pirates. Carry your memories with you and good wishes to all of you.
Rose and I worked for OVR for many years. She was sweetest person , Rip, dear Rose. My condolences to the family.
