Age 88 passed away peacefully on November 29, 2021, after losing her battle with Dementia. Born February 14, 1933, on the Northside of Pittsburgh to the late William & Margaret Kelly.
Beloved wife of 67 years to the late James Dale Hankins; loving mother of James D. (Maureen) Hankins, Jr., Michael K. (Robin) Hankins, Timothy C. (Debbie) Hankins, and Daniel C. Hankins (Crystal Scullion); proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; aunt to many nieces and nephews; dear sister of the late Mary Eisengart.
Pat will be remembered for her love of her family and friends. She especially loved the holidays and preparing lavish meals for Jim and her boys, then later for their wives and children. Her pies and cookies were legendary. Pat also enjoyed family vacations to the beach and spending time at camp with Jim and friends. Her favorite trip was to Alaska for her and Jim’s 50th Anniversary. Pat was a devoted Christian woman who showed it every facet of her life. She was a long time active member of Riverview and Ross Community Presbyterian Churches.
Friends received Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home Inc., 806 Perry Hwy, North Hills. Where a Service will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Pat’s name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
