Age 91, of Ross Twp., on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013. Beloved husband of Margaret (Depenhart) Witherel; loving father of Beverly Ann Rishel (Stephen) of SC and Jeffery Witherel (Linda) of VA; brother of Thomas Witherel; grandfather of William Scott Rishel, Cassandra Ezzell and Carrie Lynn Hoppes; also survived by four great-grandchildren. Murven was a WWII Army veteran, a Purple Heart recipient, and a retired supervisor for Duquesne Light Co. Friends received Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sebastian Church, Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Family Hospice, 310 Fisk St., Pgh., PA 15201.
