Age 92, of Ross Twp., on Sunday, January 13, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Dr. James J. Brungo; loving mother of Dr. John D. Brungo (Judy), Cynthia A. Rush (Terence), Sara F. Hennes (Leo), Mary Jo Osborne, Michael L. Brungo, Esq. (Donna), Dr. James F. Brungo (Theresa), and Rosanne G. Moquin (Marvin); sister of Mary Calabro and the late Dominic Tonzo; also survived by 24 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Friends received Wednesday, 2-4 and 6-8 at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter’s Church, North Side, Thursday, 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Peter’s Church.

My deepest sympathies with the loss of your family’s matriarch. I have known Veronica for over 10 years as a member of Highland and was always inspired by her zest for life and love of family. I can still picture her out there golfing during one of our rainy guest days. So many of the ladies would tell her how we want to be just like her when we “grow up”.
Sorry that I can’t be there to express my sympathies in person. I hope that all of you will be celebrating her life and sharing many stories.
