Age 83 of McCandless Twp., passed away in the presence of his loving family on Jan. 9, 2013, after a brief illness. He was retired from Fisher Scientific after 42 years of dedicated service. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Clare Hartig Lorenz. Father of Linda (Wally) Root, Karen (Pete) Stackhouse, Janice Lorenz, Walter R. Lorenz, Jr., and Suzanne (Norbert) Raab. Grandfather of Jennifer, Brad, Leah, Marshall, Rebecca, Eric, Robert, Walter R., III, Justin and Emily. Great grandfather of seven. Services will be held privately. Arrangements by T.B. Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills.
