Age 88, of Ross Township, died peacefully at home on May 18, 2023 surrounded by his family. Michael was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Joanne Parker Rodgers. He is survived by his eight children, Michael Kitrick Rodgers Jr. (Judy), Mary Joanne Marciniak (Richard), Brian Parker Rodgers (Lita), Kevin William Rodgers (Jennifer), Kathyrn Lynne Rodgers, Matthew John Rodgers (Suzanne), Daniel Joseph Rodgers (Maura) and Patrick Martin Rodgers (Laura); also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Michael was the youngest child of William and Harriet Kitrick Rodgers of Brighton Heights. In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his 6 siblings, William Rodgers, Margaret Rodgers, Mary Freyvogel, Ruth Miller, Harriet Beck-Graf, Joseph Rodgers. In lieu of flowers, our family requests donations to The Red Door, 202 Stanwix Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15222. Friends received Sunday at 2-6 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, Inc., 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Athanasius Church, Monday at 10:00 am.
