Martin “Uncle Marty” Stanton
Age 78 of Ross Township lost his courageous battle with Mesothelioma on May 20, 2023.
Beloved Husband for 54 years of Judy (Bazy); Loving father of Martin II (Erica), and Michael (Kelly) Stanton; Proud pappy of Michael II, Jenna, Patrick and Martin III. Brother of Theresa and Patty. Preceded in death by his siblings; Nora, Peggy, Betty, Mary, Patricia, John, Deak, Kevin, Michael, and Patrick. Also survived by his brother in law and best friend Joe Bazy, and many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by his four legged companion K.C.
Marty was a proud Irishman. He worked for Insulators Local No. 2 and enjoyed 28 years of retirement. Marty was a life-long Steelers fan. Most of all he was a devoted grandfather who never missed a single baseball game, swim meet or volleyball match. His four grandkids were his pride&joy and he was their biggest fan.
Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 6-8 pm, and Tuesday 2-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Athanasius Church. Interment will follow at North Side Catholic Cemetery.

I am so sorry for your loss. I work with Marty on many outages. Marty was a good guy and a perfect gentleman. He was one of the good guys for Local #2
Judy, our deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of Marty. A great guy we’ve know for many years and have had many good times together especially St Patrick’s parade day and steeler games. May he rest in Heavenly Peace.
