Service: Service at a later date.
Wade H. Stull, of Ross Twp., passed away in his home unexpectedly, on Friday, May 12, 2023, due to sudden heart failure, at the age of 76. He was the most excellent, caring husband of Barbara Stull and a devoted, loving father to his children Shana Fabian, Wade A. Stull and Erika Stull. Wade took great joy in his wonderful grandchildren, Julia Fabian and Troy Fabian and relished attending Julia’s musical performances and Troy’s sports games.
Wade graduated from Kittanning High School and William Penn College. Wade was employed for 35 years by A. C. Dellovade, Inc. as Mgr. of Business Development before his retirement in 2020. In the course of his working life, he made many good friends and greatly enjoyed their camaraderie and the numerous great times spent together.
Wade always had a fondness for dogs and actually, at the age of 16, showed the family’s Welsh Terrier at Madison Square Garden. In recent years, not simultaneously, he was the “dogfather” of three Pomeranians – Ayla, Humphrey and most recently, A. J.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Shirley Stull and his brother, Jack W. Stull. In addition to his immediate family, Wade is survived by his former wife, Joanne Stull, sister-in-law, Connie Stull, his step-daughter, Sandra Shillinger-Gaggini and son-in-law,Gregg Gaggini.Wade was a most gregarious gentleman who could hold a conversation with almost anyone. He made everyone feel that they were very special. His sense of humor and quick wit brought smiles and laughter to everyone he was with. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends. As per Wade’s request, no funeral service will be held. A celebration of Wade’s will be held at a later date.

This is sad news. Wade and Jack were neighbors and friends growing up. Lots of fun stuff.
We recently became aware and are so very saddened to hear of Wade’s passing. We each have wonderful memories of the many family times with Wade. All he needed to do was walk into a room and the world became brighter. Always a kind word, a funny story, a caring smile….he seemed to know just what was needed for any situation.
Strong, yet tender-hearted. Bold, yet sensitive in nature. He was always making sure everyone was alright.
Being across the country, Wade would call when he saw we were having a bad storm, or an earthquake, or even showing up when one of us was in the hospital (somehow donning a lab coat and stethascope) and became funny Dr. Stull, just to lighten the day, make you laugh (sometimes till you cried) and to offer any help. Wade was a ROCK. Solid, stable, and true.
Wade was our eldest living Cousin, and we miss him with all our hearts.
We love you Barbara! It has been such a pleasure getting to know you. Please let us know how we can help – even if just to lend an ear – or a shoulder.
With Love,
The Zellefrow Girls
Wonderful guy! Always made us laugh. You were so very blessed to have a dad like Wade.
God Bless, DICKY & SHARI STULL
A good man has gone to Heaven he will always be watching over the Stull family
Shannon, Erica and Wade: I am sincerely sorry for your loss. You were all great neighbors.
Ericka, you got this! He’ll always be w/you, but he wouldn’t have left if he didn’t know you were capable. God Bless you all. 🌹💔
Heartfelt condolences to Barbara, Shana, Wade, Erika, and all Wade’s family and friends. His sudden passing left me stunned and devastated. As Wade’s college roommate, and close friend for fifty-eight years, we enjoyed probably a billion laughs, escapades galore, and oh my goodness..his stories…priceless! More importantly, Wade was a giver, thoughtful, and as Erika said, a “pick me up” person. His energy and good nature were infectious, Wade was a “foxhole guy”, and there aren’t many of those guys around.
Perhaps, the greater the grief, the greater the blessing. When this enormous hole-in-my-heart begins to shrink, I’ll realize , even more fully, what a blessing it’s been to have had a friend like Wade for five decades.
Loved that Guy!! RIP Wade!

Wade will surely be missed in our community. Outside with the dog(s) he was always ready to have conversations with all who passed by. Sometimes there would be a group of people enjoying the conversations and fellowship and that seemed like an impromptu party.
Prayers and love to Barb, his wife.
