Joseph W. Gill, 65, of Cranberry Twp. (formerly of Rochester, NY), passed away with his family surrounding him on April 7, 2017.
Loving husband of 42 years to Mary Linda (Watson), loving father of Joseph W., Jr. (Lina), Patrick, Matthew (Mallory). Proud grandfather of Isabella, Luca, and Delaney Gill.
He was born to Mary Lou (Raihall) and the late Walter Gill, July 7, 1951, in Pittsburgh, PA. Joe was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas P. Gill. Also survived by his brothers Michael and James, sister Nancy, and by an aunt, an uncle and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joe graduated from St. Mary’s of the Mount High School in 1969 and earned a BS in Chemical Engineering and MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in 1973 and 1975.
He worked 41 years for Xerox Corporation in a variety of roles, most recently as VP of Finance. He loved spending time with his family, Pittsburgh sports, and vacations to the Vistana Resort in Orlando, FL where he has served as President of the Cascades Board of Directors for the past 15 years.
