John Allan Strharsky age 76, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Kansas City, Kansas passed away on December 29, in the presence of his twin brother.

Born on January 6, 1949 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin John was a devoted son and brother, an uncle and a friend known for his infectious jokes and smile.

John served in the US Navy in Avionics. After his service, he resided in Kansas City, KS with his wife of 51 years, Gloria.

He worked for Continental Can, Truman Medical Center as Head of Maintenance, and as Commercial Property Manager at Newmark Zimmer in Kansas City, KS.

He was an active member of the Lions Club in Kansas City and Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Loretta, his wife, Gloria, and his brother, Paul. He is survived by his brothers, Harry Strharsky (Loretta), Joe Strharsky (Donna) and Michael Strharsky (Angela), and step children, Shirley Purcival, James Graw (Dita) and Mary Santella (Stephen), and step grand children, nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2 to 5 PM at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township, 2678 Rochester Rd. Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM at Divine Grace parish, St. Ferdinand Church. Entombment will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery, Pine Township.

His spirit and boundless love for life and family will live forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers consider a donation in memory of John to the American Cancer Society.

    John and Gloria were dear friends of our family. We would go join them with a group of us (the breakfast club we called it! They were both part of the family here at St Patrick’s Catholic Church. I will offer Holy Mass tomorrow morning 1!1/26 for the Peaceful Repose of his soul and for all of you in the family. We loved him dearly! Christ is Risen! Glory. To His Holy death and Resurrection!
