Cathy Marie (Sullivan) Cortazzo
On Saturday, December 27, 2025, Cathy Marie (Sullivan) Cortazzo, age 62, of Cranberry
Township, passed peacefully. Beloved mother of Kelly Cortazzo, Michael (Ashley) Cortazzo,
Matthew Cortazzo and Caylin (Stephen) Hartley. Proud grandmother of Silas Matthew Hartley.
Loving daughter of Larry Sullivan and the late Donna Sullivan. Sister of Noreen (Tim)
(Sullivan) Bandi and Linda Romese. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
A loving and devoted mother of four, Cathy cared deeply for her children and highly valued
time spent with her family. She treasured the bonds she shared with her loved ones and was
overjoyed to recently become a grandmother.
Whether through family, friendships, or her charitable work, Cathy found purpose in bringing
people together and supporting those around her.
Cathy founded the Cranberry CUP in 2001 with the goal of uniting the community to help
other community members in need. In 2009, Cathy’s hard work was recognized by the Senator’s office when she was awarded the Jefferson Award for individuals who make significant contributions through volunteerism and community service.  Over time, the organization has grown in both reach and
impact, becoming a meaningful source of support for countless individuals and families within
Cranberry Twp. Cathy took pride in her commitment to giving back, which will continue
through the Cranberry CUP’s mission.
