James R. Boyd
Age 89, of Ross Twp., passed away on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019 with his daughter by his bedside. Born Oct. 24, 1929, son of the late William and Dehlia “Bridget” Boyd Lozito. Beloved husband of the late Joy (Blosat) Boyd; loving father of Patricia M. Boyd; dear brother of the late William (Claire) Boyd.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
James was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He worked for Boggs and Buhl where he acquired expertise in Oriental rugs. When they closed their doors he took this talent to Jospeh Horne where he worked 35 plus years.
Family and friends are welcome Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 am at St. Teresa of Avila Parish. Entombment will follow with military honors at North Side Catholic Cemetery.
