Age 72, of Cranberry Twp., passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband for 50 years of Joan (Robbins) Tuttle; Loving father of Jennifer Tuttle (Brianna Cipollone) and Robyn Tuttle Burns (Timothy); Proud grandfather of Ryan Robert Burns and Jacob Lloyd Burns; Brother of Gregory Tuttle (Barbara Fenton) and the late Glenna Tuttle; Also survived by many loving friends and relatives, especially his two cousins, Charles “Chick” Halsted and the late Lynn Delorier. After graduating from Cornell University with a degree in Fisheries Biology, Ray started a long and successful career as a fisheries biologist and more importantly, married his high school sweetheart, Joan. Together they recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary surrounded by their friends and family in his beloved Adirondacks. Whether he was fishing, hunting, or cooking, Ray loved to be surrounded by his friends and family. To fully honor his wishes and memory, a formal memorial service or visitation will not be held. Instead, a “Celebration of his Life” will be held in September filled with shared memories, laughter, good food, and wine. So sad to hear of Ray’s passing. I worked with Ray on the Hudson River in the 70s. He was a great friend as well. I still have a collection of the poems he wrote for & about the various people with whom we both worked. I will never forget him and the dart tournaments. He loved to laugh. Miss ya, big guy!

Just heard that “King Tut” passed away. So sorry to hear such sad news. We are so thankful that you had such a special event to be able to share with so many family and friends.
