Age 50, of Cranberry Twp., suddenly on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Beloved husband of 21 years Marianne (Zeidler); loving father of Tiffany Cass, Crystal, John and Brandon; proud grandfather of Cameron Killmeyer and Brayden Wise; son of Donald Batista, Sr. and the late Janet Brown; grandson of Dorothy Brown; brother of Barbara Batista and Susan Burchlaw; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Friends received Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME of CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd. Cranberry Twp., 724-772-8800, where services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Don was a longtime employee at Berry Metals, where he served as a Union Representative, Union President and Negotiator. He also enjoyed volunteering with the CTAA.
