Service: Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30AM at St. John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, Regina Coeli Parish, with Father Joe Mele presiding. Entombment will be in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery, Gibsonia.
Darlene M. Doerfler, 78, of McCandless, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at home and surrounded by her loving family. Born November 15, 1947, in Weirton, WV, she is the daughter of the late John and Mary Babinchak. Darlene is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Michael Doerfler; son Edward (Joann) Doerfler; daughter Danielle (Tim) Rowlands; grandchildren Melody Doerfler, Marigold Doerfler, McKenna Rowlands, and Christopher Rowlands, all of McCandless; sister-in-law, Kathy, of Weirton, WV, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, John and David.
A dedicated teacher throughout her life, Mrs. Doerfler touched countless lives in the classroom. Yet, her most cherished roles were those of a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Guided by a deep and unwavering faith, her greatest legacy, and her ultimate joy, was the family she raised and the time she spent surrounded by her loved ones.

You don’t know me but you and Darlene’s name have crossed paths many times over the years.
