Daniel W. Demoise, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, just days before his 85th birthday. Born in Greensburg, PA, on July 17, 1941, Daniel spent much of his life in Pittsburgh, where he became a prominent figure in the steel industry as President of his company.

Daniel is survived by his two sons, Daniel Demoise III and David Demoise, and his former spouse and dedicated caregiver, Beverly Demoise. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Demoise, Sr., and Rose Demoise and his sister, Peg Keracher. He will be deeply missed by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who cherished his warmth and spirit.

An avid lover of the beach and a passionate golfer, Daniel devoted himself to family, faith, and hard work. He was a lifelong supporter of the Steelers and Penn State, often sharing his enthusiasm for sports with family and friends.

In honor of his memory, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in lieu of flowers.

Visitation for Daniel will take place on Wednesday from 4-8 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, St. Teresa of Avila Church at 10 am.

    Sorry for your loss Dan I just fond out day when I checked my email. I only meet him a couple times but he sounded like a great guy. He’s at peace now not suffering for years you’ll see him again in heaven. I’ll say a prayer for him
