McCann; son of the late Richard and Allison McCann; grandson of the late Elizabeth Barkley; nephew of Donald Barkley, Elizabeth Rheaume (Greg), and Judy Terwillager; son-in-law of Donald C. Kaszner and the late Patricia Kaszner; brother-in-law of Donald Kaszner (Marianne) and Thomas Kaszner (Danielle); uncle of Aidan, Madison, Katelyn, and Landon Kaszner. Friends received Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Rd., 724-772-8800. Additional visitation at Henderson – Biedekapp Funeral Home, Hancock, NY, 607-637-2581, Monday 2-4 and 7-9. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul Church, Tuesday 10:30 a.m. Dan was a director of new store operations for Dick’s Sporting Goods, where he worked for 24 years holding various positions. I am sorry so for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Dan was a one of my favorite person to work for.
My deepest condolences go out to the McCann family. I knew dan from new store projects and his encouragement and words of wisdom were well known throughout the new store family as well as dicks sporting goods. He will be greatly missed and I am deeply saddened by this loss to such a great teacher and mentor. Deepest condolences again to his family and friends.
Words cannot express the sorrow I feel at a loss of a dear friend and former co-worker. The time I spent with Dan was always a treat and there were many times of much joy and laughter. I had the honor and pleasure to celebrate so many milestones with a fine man. I now pray that God watches over his family and does everything he can for all of us to ease the pain of his loss. It will never be easy and I just want to see his sons’ blossom in the shadow of a remarkable father that they had. For Denise, I know you are surrounded by love even in this tough time. God Bless each and every one of you as you face the road ahead.
