Constance “Connie” J. Police, 91, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026. She was born on August 6, 1934, in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania, to the late Alexander and Josephine Murawski.
Connie was the oldest of seven children and from a young age, played a role in caring for her younger siblings. Her early life required strength, resilience, and maturity beyond her years, qualities that remained with her throughout her life. Those formative experiences shaped a deep sense of responsibility, independence, and unwavering devotion to family.
She graduated from McKees Rocks High School in 1953 and went on to work in clerical roles at McLean Trucking Company, then later at ABF Freight Systems prior to her retirement. Connie was known for her reliability, organization, and friendly spirit. She took great pride in her appearance and was always impeccably dressed, whether at work, at church, or attending family gatherings.
A devoted Catholic and active member of Divine Grace Parish, Connie lived her beliefs through kindness, service, and commitment to community. She was active in Junior Aid, the Red Hat Society, and was socially active in her neighborhood.
Connie brought warmth and joyful energy to family gatherings. She loved playing cards with friends and proudly served as the game organizer for family events. Connie especially loved the holidays -Christmas Eve dinner was her treasured tradition and every Easter she and John proudly made Easter egg bread for family and friends. She also enjoyed attending live theatre and musicals, appreciating the performances and the opportunity to dress up for an evening out. She had a remarkable memory for dates, milestones, and life’s important moments, often serving as the family historian, keeping everyone connected through her stories and recollections.
Above all, Connie cherished her beloved husband of 71 years, John. Together they built a life grounded in love, tradition, and family. They enjoyed planning trips to visit their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and faithfully followed their sports and activities, cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm. Two months after John’s passing, Connie and John are now reunited again.
Survived by her beloved children, daughter Jackie (Chuck) Fusina, and sons Rick (Janice) and Ron (Kim); grandchildren Matt (Sarah), Shannon, Stephanie (Chris), Lauren, Jessica (Colin), Jason, and Ben; and great-grandchildren Sofia, Isabelle, Paxton, and Adelyn. She is also survived by siblings Lucille, Richard, Sonny, and Cindy, and is preceded in death by siblings Carol and Marilyn. She leaves behind many dear nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Family and friends are welcome at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Township on Sunday, March 8th from 3pm to 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church on Monday, March 9th at 10am.
