Clarence L.”Bud” Miller

Clarence L.“Bud” Miller, 80, of McCandless Twp. passed away unexpectedly on Thursday,
December 23, 2021.

Bud was born on March 23, 1941 in Pittsburgh to the late Clarence N. and Wilma (Sander)
Miller. After graduating from Allegheny High School, he began his truck driving career in
1958 with Motor Coils, later Dravo Doyle and eventually retired from NationsRent Inc. Bud was
a veteran of the United States Army Reserve.

He loved to spend time with his family, especially in Michigan at the NASCAR race, family
functions at “The Garage” and the many camping trips they took over the decades. He was an
avid hunter and a lifetime member of the NRA. Bud loved riding his Harley Davidson and going
on poker runs.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Maureen (Doherty) Miller and their three sons, Scott
(Christine) Miller, Clinton Corners, NY, Sean (Lucy) Miller, New Brighton, PA and Adam
Miller (Christa DiLorenzo), Pittsburgh, PA; five grandchildren, Peyton, Justin, Patrick,
Alexandra “Beetle” and Nicholas Miller who lovingly called him “Pap”; dear cousins, Pat
(Tony) Cerminaro, Kathy (Al) Lupatin and Nancy (Gordon) Bena and many loving friends and
relatives.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4-8 PM in the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC.,
806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at
St. Teresa of Avila Church (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish).
