William V. Marquis Jr.
Age 72, of Jackson Twp., Mercer County, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 after a brief illness. Born June 8, 1949, son of the late William V. Sr., and Irene (Yeager) Marquis. Beloved husband of Marlene (Langer), Marquis, whom he married on August 26, 1972; loving father of Michael, and Gregory (Stacy) Marquis; pop-pop of Emma, and Ava; brother of John (Patty), Richard (Donna) and the late Louis (surviving Raimunda) Marquis. Bill is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

William proudly served the Pennsylvania State Police for thirty-one years and retired as a Lieutenant in 2003. He was a 1983 graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:30 am at St. Kilian Church, with Rev. Charles Bober officiating. Burial will follow at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Bill’s name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
