Age 88, of New Sewickley Twp., formerly of Ingomar, on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Beloved wife of L. Jean (Brunn) Cooper; Loving father of Robert D. (Diana), Charles J., III, and James A. Cooper; Proud grandfather of Lauren A. Cooper and Ashley M. Bevan, Charles IV and Nicole M. Cooper, Robert Chapman and Danielle Anderson; Great grandfather of 5. Also survived by many loving friends and relatives. Friends received Friday 2-4 & 6-9PM at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., where funeral services will be held on Saturday 10AM. Charles was the former owner of Cooper’s Garage in Ingomar for over 50 years. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ingomar United Methodist Chuch, 1501 W. Ingomar Rd., Pgh, PA 15237.

The Jack Cooper Letner family is sorry to learn of the passing of Chuck. Regardless of things that happened in the past, we must forgive as Jesus has forgiven us. We also mourn the death of Jack Letner on May 14, 2012. May we all find peace in our Savior’s name.
With his death, I will try to forgive the tresspasses that Uncle Charlie did to me and my family. I find it interesting that he is noted a “owner” of Cooper’s Garage rather than Co-owner and that his brother, William John Cooper who was coerced to sign over the family legacy is not even mentioned in this obituary. It was my father who created and ran the business that supported both our families he is not even remembered. My father was not perfect, but he tried to be an honest man who took care of ALL of his family, I cannot say the same of my uncle. May God Bless Uncle Chuck and forgive him.
