Preceded in death by her late parents, Nora Murphy Boyle and Hugh Conrad Boyle.
She is survived by her loving cousins the late James Hohman (Audrey), John Hohman (Lynn), Jean Hohman Connors (Dan), Jerry Hohman (Mindy), Joe Hohman (Mary Margaret), Mary Ann McAdams Busse (the late Jack), Bill McAdams (Alice), John Murphy (the late Kathy), and their children; dear friends Gayle Craig, Becky Wallack; many valued high school friends; and numerous new-found friends at Sherwood Oaks.
Catherine was born on March 1, 1938 in Delaware.
She grew up in Ambridge then lived in California from 1969-2017.
Catherine graduated Ambridge High School 1956; graduated Robert Morris, 1957 in the Secretarial Division, with honors.
She was an Executive Secretary to the Director of Administration in government contracts with several major corporations in CA 1969-2004.
Catherine returned to Pennsylvania and became a resident at Sherwood Oaks Retirement Community, Cranberry Twp. in 2017 until her death in 2024.
She was hardworking, reliable, conscientious, fun-loving, a good friend, and, as an avid reader she could converse on almost any subject and enjoyed talking to people of all ages.
The Memorial service will be held at Sherwood Oaks Retirement Community, 100 Norman Drive, Cranberry Township, on Sunday, November 17th at 3:00 for visitation, 3:30 service. Cathy (I called her Cath) and I shared so many great times and worked together for years; our trip to Ireland was more than special. I miss my dear friend; She is in my heart.
