Beau David Barclay of Cranberry Township, passed away on November 6, 2024. Beau was born on October 16, 1992 to Don and Dana Barclay in Cranberry Twp., PA.

Beau graduated as an athlete from Seneca Valley High School in 2011. He went on to acquire a Business Degree from Slippery Rock University in 2014. Following graduation, Beau moved to Columbus, OH where he worked for Mettler Toledo, before accepting a sales job with Michelin tires in Buffalo, NY. He finally made his way back home to Pittsburgh, where he worked as a sales manager for Hankook Tires. He soon transitioned into a new line of work, becoming a field engineer for Lindy Paving, where he has spent the last 5 years of his career.

After moving back to Pittsburgh, Beau Barclay met the love of his life, Jordan (Mezey). Excited to start their lives together, the two were married in June of 2022. They couldn’t wait to start a family of their own and welcomed their daughter, Quinn on September 6th, 2023. Although he only had a short time with her, Quinn was the light of his life. He was a doting dad and cherished every moment spent with her. He enjoyed teaching her how to throw a ball, dance, and occasionally teased her until she would erupt in a fit of giggles. Quinn lit up every time her dad walked through the door.

Beau had the biggest smile and an unforgettable sense of humor. He was never in a hurry and always had time for the coffee talks. If he wasn’t with Quinn, he enjoyed spending his time in the woods hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Beau loved watching and reading up on all sports, but especially football, where his favorite team was WVU. He was a man of many hobbies and also enjoyed playing golf, reffing basketball and attending all of his nieces and nephews sporting events. Beau was a faithful man who loved God and was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. He touched and inspired so many people and we will hold that forever in our hearts.

Beau leaves behind his wife Jordan Barclay, daughter Quinn Barclay, his parents Chip and Dana Barclay, his brother Donny (Brea) Barclay, sister Brooke (Matt) Tutor, his nephews Cooper and Cruz and nieces, Livi, Brynn, Vivienne, and Bella. He is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We couldn’t have asked for a better husband, father, son, brother and uncle and we’ll miss him terribly every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Friends will be received from 1-3 PM and 5-7 PM on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 at the Devlin Funeral Home. 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM. on Monday, November 11, 2024, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. 2535 Rochester Rd., Cranberry Twp., PA 16066, Rev. John P. Gallagher officiating.

Lord Jesus Christ Son of God, have mercy. I’m in utter shock. My deepest and most sincere condolences to the family. I worked with Beau while he was with Michelin. Such a great spirit and pleasure to be around. His smile was second to none. Super smart, hard-working, and desired to please and be the best at his profession. I was just thinking of him the other day wondering if he had any new and exciting hunting stories to share. My heard is with the family.

To the Barclay Family, I just learned of Beau’s passing and I am so sorry. I had the pleasure to manage Beau during his time at Hankook. Although we lost touch since, I will always have good memories. Such a spirited young man and always a hard-worker and forward-thinker. In addition, he always kept me on my toes. Again, I am so sorry for your loss, he made a positive impact to all that surrounded him during his short time on Earth. I will keep you all in my prayers during a very difficult time.
