Carlita Galardy

Carlita Mary Galardy died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006. She was born May 25, 1917, in Baltimore, Md., to Charles and Bertha Puls. Carlita is survived by two sons, Richard and Robert; and two grandchildren, Ellen and Elizabeth. The Galardy family began life together when Carlita met and married Albert Galardy in Baltimore. Both boys were born in Maryland shortly after Albert’s return from the European front during World War II. The family moved to the Pittsburgh area in 1952 and other than a brief return to Baltimore in the 1960s, has resided in the North Hills ever since. Carlita was active in the local Women’s Club and had a very active social life through the Highland Country Club, St. John Neumann Church and with family and friends. A Mass will be said for Carlita at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. John Neumann Church, Franklin Park. Interment private. Arrangements by the DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross.
