Chris was my best friend during law school (Vermont Law School, Class of 1985) and we kept in touch regularly thereafter. He was a good and loyal friend to me and all of my memories of him, and the times we spent together, are happy ones. At law school, it is difficult to make and be friends with a lot of people (due to study schedules and other obligations typically not present during college), but from early in our first year in Vermont, we realized that we had much in common, connected and stayed close. I’d have to look, but I know somewhere I have a picture of a very proud Chris holding a very small fish that he caught in the White River near the house where we lived in South Royalton, VT. I will always remember him as a very smart guy, a lot of fun to be with and be around, a huge and devout Steelers fan (maybe they’ll win it all again this year), and a very down to earth, unpretentious person. I will miss him greatly. My thoughts , prayers and best wishes go out to his family and friends in Pittsburgh and elsewhere.
