Age 62 of West View died on Wed. 1-12-2005 at UPMC Passavant Hospital. He was born in Pgh on 10-6-1942son of the late Anthony J and Virginia (McCall) Kummer. He was a Supervisor for Schroeder Industrial.
Beloved husband of Mary Pat (Lawler) Kummer, Loving father of Jeffrey R. And his wife Margaret of Bethesda, Md., Maureen L., of Ross Twp. And Amber M. Janeczko and her husband Darin of West View.
Grandfather of Julian Thomas and Michael Vincent. Brother of Carolyn Gaus and her husband Donald of Allison Park, Madalyn Murphy and her husband James of Allison Park, and Barbara Mullaugh and her husband James of South Park. Brother in law of Shelley Kuzmovich and her husband Michael of Penn Hills. Also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation Thursday 7-9 Friday 2-4 and 6-9 PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Athanasius Church, Saturday 10 AM. Interment will follow in Allegheny County Memorial Park Cemeterty.
To Vince’s Family,
I was one of the many fortunate people to know your Vince. I bowled Wednesday nights with him for my 10 years in the league and was able to golf and attend many a gathering with him.
It was, truly, an honor to know him. He was always kind and fun to be with and even though I was many a few years younger than he, I always felt welcomed to be in his presence. He always made you feel that way.
He will be missed by all of us.
