Age 96, of McCandless Twp., passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. Beloved wife of the late Edward C. McAllonis, DMD; Loving mother of Karen (Daniel) Griffin; Proud and devoted grandmother of Alyssa and Tyler; Daughter of the late Anthony and the late Louise (Orankiewicz) Golembiewski; Sister of the late Anthony (the late Evelyn) Golembiewski, the late Louise (the late John) Czerwinski, the late Marie (the late Cornelius) Langford, the late James (the late Marjorie) Golembiewski, the late Irene Golembiewski, and the late Dolores (the late Mike) Bursick; Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends. Dorothy was the proud daughter of Polish immigrants. She loved many aspects of her heritage, especially polka dancing. She loved traveling, shopping, and dining out with family and friends. Dorothy was a devout catholic and a longtime member of St. Teresa of Avila Church. Above all, she was proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with them and attending all of their school-based and extracurricular activities. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. Friends will be received on Friday, December 18th from 2-4 & 6-8PM at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, Inc. 806 Perry Hwy. Ross Twp. DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS, VISITATION IS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. PLEASE CALL 412-364-0510 BY FRIDAY 12PM TO RESERVE YOUR 20 MINUTE TIME SLOT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in St. Teresa of Avila Church (Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church), 1000 Avila Ct., Pgh, PA 15237 on Saturday, December 19th at 10AM. Everyone please meet at church.
