Kevin P. Conrad
On Wednesday, December 16, 2020, Kevin passed away after an 11-year cancer battle with his beloved family by his side. Kevin was born on March 22, 1955 to Richard and Shirley (Wing) Conrad in Bradford, VT. He attended Bradford Academy and Oxbow High School, graduating in 1973. From 1973-1975, he attended the University of Vermont, going on to finish his degree at Ohio University in 1977. He married his loving wife Jami (Barnett) Conrad of 34 years on October 18, 1986. Kevin & Jami went on to raise a beautiful family of five children together.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Shirley. He is survived by his wife,
Jami and his children, Shane B. (Cozette) Conrad, Paige (Jacob) Altrogge, Devin (JT) Fornataro, Morgan S. Conrad, and Tristan R. Conrad. He is also survived by his two brothers: W. Christopher (Christie) Conrad, and Michael (Audrey) Conrad. He was the proudest pappy to his first grandson, Blain R. Conrad, born to Shane and Cozette.

He loved traveling with his wife on European trips and lived for yearly beach trips to South Carolina with his family. He did everything in his power to never miss a soccer game, dance recital, Homecoming Dance, and more for his children. Kevin was an Emmy Award winning Premier Editor for WQED Pittsburgh for over 43 years. He worked on national shows like Kennedy Center Tonight, The Chemical People, and Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He collaborated with Rick Sebak as his editor on his Pittsburgh History Series shows. He also enjoyed his time working on the set of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood with Fred Rogers for 19 years where he was nominated for an Emmy Award for his editing work. In addition, Kevin spent many years working as a crew member for FSN/Root Sports broadcasts for the Pittsburgh Pirates & Pittsburgh Penguins. Kevin will be most remembered for his dry sense of humor and quick wit, as well as his unconditional love for his family.

Family and friends are welcome on Sunday from 12-4 pm and Monday from 11 am until 12:15 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. In accordance with new State mandates guests are asked to please call the funeral home between 9 and 4 pm at (724) 772-8800, or email Jonathan@devlinfuneralhome.com to make a reservation to attend. Guests will be asked to practice social distancing, wear masks, and limit their visiting time to 15 minutes to accommodate everyone wanting to pay their respects. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately on Monday at St. Ferdinand Church, with a private burial to follow.
In lieu of gifts, Kevin requested donations to the Fred Rogers Center or the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance.
