Of Marshall Twp., on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Kian “Si” Kooros; loving mother of Darius Kooros and Bryan (Tracey) Kooros; proud grandmother of Scott and Ryan; sister of Lynn Sobeck (the late Al) and Jeannie Neckerman (Rich); also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp., where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Wilma was an avid horseback rider and gardener. She also enjoyed arts and crafts. She had a strong love of books, and was happy to have an intelligent conversation with all walks of life. Wilma had a special place in her heart for animals, caring for many pets in her life. Memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Society or the American Cancer Society.

Darius and Bryan: Please accept my heartfelt condolences for the passing of your beloved mother. You probably do not know me although I met you about 35 years or so ago. I was a friend of your dad since our medical school days in Tehran. That friendship continued when we came to the United States and during our training at Allegheny General. Later I was the best man for your dad’s wedding. Unfortunately life events took us to different courses and geographically we moved quite apart as it was necessary to do so. We kept occasional phone contact. After his departure from this world I called your mom and expressed my sorrow. You were both lucky to have had wonderful parents although somewhat cut short.
