William D. Johns, of Shaler, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008. William was a leader in Recovery Inc., North Hills, for 20 years and an avid golfer. Beloved husband for 58 years of Maryruth (Dresbach) Johns. Father of William E. Johns (Melissa). Brother of Edward Johns and Ardith Holtz. Grandfather of Cassandra and Amanda Johns. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, Ross, where a service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday.
