William Bell Jr., 76, of Ross Township passed away unexpectedly on a cruise on February 6, 2025. He was the son of the late William Sr. and Ruth Bell and the beloved husband of Elaine Bell for 52 years. A devoted family man, William was a loving father to Bill Bell, Tom (April) Bell, and Brian (Jenn) Bell. He was a proud grandfather to Addison and Ashton.
A Navy veteran, William served his country with honor. He cherished time with his family, particularly on cruises, and enjoyed listening to oldies music. A talented athlete, he played professional softball with the Pittsburgh Hardhats in the 1970s and was a dedicated supporter of his children’s sporting events and extracurricular activities.
In accordance with his family’s wishes, there will be no formal services. However, an informal celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Remo’s Catering in the North Hills, from 12 to 4 p.m.

Sorry to hear about Bills passing. We lived next to the Bell’s for years. He was such a nice guy. Prayers to the Bell family from the Schmitt Family.

Sad to hear about Mr bell. I played baseball with brian and he was always at the game . He was also a chaperone on a lot of our field trips. 🙏
