Virginia G. (Taylor) Mayer, of Ross Township, formerly of Fox Chapel, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009. Wife of the late Robert L. Mayer; loving mother of Robert L. Jr. (Marilyn), of Florida, and Nancy Cassidy (J. Keith), of Indiana Township; dear grandmother of Emma Rose Cassidy; sister of Robert, George, John and Ronald Taylor and the late Marion Springer, William, Jim and Richard Taylor. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial at noon Thursday in St. Teresa of Avila Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Teresa of Avila Church or Forbes Hospice.
