I am saddened to learn of the passing of Tom Murrin. To those of us fortunate to have been part of ’The Company’ back in the day and to have known Tom, there was always this feeling we were in the presence of someone special. His business and corporate talents were abundant, for sure, but the best part of Tom was his humanity. Tom could run a major corporate entity on a scale that would dazzle any business leader, all the while sticking close to the thousands of people who he relied on to get the job done. We all learned from him, even those of us across the plaza at the broadcast studios, and carried many of his lessons with us in our careers.

Tom was one of my great heroes!

He mentored and motivated me and many hundreds of thousands of others, each in a unique way, with personal notes, words of wisdom, and always sharing his great wisdom and experience with each person he touched!

There was no one like Tom!

His always positive impact on the world will be felt for generations to come!

Thank you Tom! We will miss you forever, but never forget all your accomplishments that have made the world a better place for all!

    Sincerely,
    Alan Mandel
