Thomas A. Moul, age 74, of Ross Twp., passed away on Friday, September 1,2017. Beloved husband of 51 years to Marianne (Drake) Moul; loving father of Thomas D. (Laura) Moul, Kristin R. (Kirk) Henderson, and Melissa A. (Timothy) Bywalski; brother of Lawrence (Gerda) Moul and the late David Moul (surviving spouse, Connie) ; proud grandfather of Logan, Amelia, Caroline, Lucas, Max, Charlie and Anna.
Friends received Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Devlin Funeral Home, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bonaventure Church Wednesday 10 a.m. Tom was a teacher in the Pittsburgh City schools for 35 years and was a football coach at Schenley, North Hills and Perry High Schools. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic High School.

My deepest sympathy to the family and his dearest friends. I had the pleasure of playing football for him at Schenley H.S. (Seasons ’71-’74)!!! He was liked by many and loved by most!!! Rest in peace, coach!

The one thing I will always remember about Tommy is that no matter where we met, in the hallway, in the parking lot, or up at the field, he always had a smile on his face and we always found something to laugh about. Marianne, I am sorry for your loss. Tom was a great coach and teacher and He will greatly missed by his many friends. Tom had Ha great sense of humor which made him the life of the party. I am in Albany, New York and I will not be back in Pittsburgh until Thursday night but my thoughts will be with you and your family.

I’m so very sorry to learn of the passing of your father, Melissa. While It seems he’s left too soon, he at least was able to be present for many of the most important of your life events like your marriage and arrival of your children among many others. I know there’s few words I could write to assuage your sadness but I do hope you will find comfort being surrounded by family and friends sharing many wonderful memories of a life well lived. Heartfelt sympathies to you all.
I’m so sorry for your loss Maryann. I got to see Tom at the golf outings we had in Coleman’s name. My boys enjoyed meeting his friends from the North Side and the stories they told. Tom was such a nice guy. My sympathies to your family.
