Service: Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St Sebastian Church, Friday at 10:30a.m.


At the age of 93. On Wednesday March 22, 2023, Tess passed peacefully and joyfully reunited with the love of her life and husband of 71 years, Al.  Tess is also reunited with her two sons that preceded her in death Fred and Dale.   She leaves behind daughters. Susan (Ralph) Dankmyer and Linda (Randy) Greely.  She was Nana or Mummum to seven grandkids that she loved so much, Fred (Michelle) Kress, Heather Fritz, Dale (Samantha)Dankmyer, Paul (Nicole) Kress, Julie (Ryan) Meyer, Sean, (Ashley) Miller and Robin (Bob) Meade.  She also was Nana Tessie or Mummum to eleven great-grandkids whom she also loved so very much, Shelby, Scarlett and Savannah Kress, Jacob, Nathan, Noah and Courtney Fritz, Marli and Evie Dankmyer, Preston and Hudson Kress.  Tess is also survived by many nieces and nephews, especially Joyce Brown who gave so much of her love and support to Uncle Al and Aunt Tessie for many years.  Special thanks go to Kylie Guhn (Tess’s Angel) and the wonderful staff and dear friends at Cumberland Crossing Manor.  Tess and Al enjoyed many years of camping and traveling with good friends Tom and Carol Ferguson.  She was a wonderful, loving and very kind woman and will be greatly missed by all.  Her biggest joy in life was her husband Al and their 71 years of marriage and her children, grandkids and great-grandkids.  The immediate family will have a private viewing followed by. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, St. Sebastian Church Friday at 10:30 am. for anyone that would like to attend.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of any flowers or plants please just do a kind deed for someone like Tess and Al would do.

    Your parents were so in love; seeing them together at their anniversary celebration at Narcissi Winey a few years back showed how much they loved and respected each other. If every couple could be so lucky! Both are reunited in heaven. I believe in life after and Al and Tess are together again.
