of McCandless Township passed away on Tuesday November 7, 2023. Wife of the late Henry W. Mueller, loving mother of Diane M. Tyra (Dennis), James H.Mueller, and Sandra A. Mueller; proud grandmother of Sarah Zlockie (David), Ashley Graziano (Rob), Luke Mueller, Madison Mueller, and the late Jason Antonette; great grandmother of John, Elliot, Will and Maria.
As a young lady, Sylvia grew up in Spring Hill on the North Side in a large close-knit Slovak family. She loved to go dancing and would often ride the streetcar to Danceland at West View Park, where she would gather with friends and dance her favorite jitterbug. She worked at Sears and that’s where she met her husband and many friends. Sylvia loved her children and family and was a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge with neighborhood friends, going to garage sales, and shopping downtown. A lover of chocolate and sweets, she always had a smile on her face and enjoyed life. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Friends received Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at DEVLIN Funeral Home Inc., 806 Perry Hwy, North Hills. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Aidan Parish, St. Alexis Church Friday at 10 a.m.
