Sister M. Rosetta Diehl ended her earthly life of 72 years and began her eternal life Wednesday, July 14, 2010. At the time of her death, Sister was a member of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Nazareth, Ky. Born in Ridgway, Sister entered the Vincentian Sisters of Charity from St. Leo the Great Parish, Ridgway, on Sept. 8, 1957. During her years of ministry, Sister Rosetta worked for 24 years as a practical nurse in Assumption Nursing Home in Youngstown, Ohio. She served 11 years in the same capacity at Vincentian Nursing Home and 11 years as activities coordinator in Vincentian Personal Care Facility. Sister entered Vincentian Nursing Home in 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rose. Among those who will mourn her death are Sister Joan Hepp; and her many friends and sisters in the community. Friends are being received from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Friday in St. Louise Convent, 8200 McKnight Road, Pittsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 4 p.m. Friday in the St. Louise Convent Chapel. Burial will follow in Sisters’ Cemetery on the convent grounds. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Office of Congregational Advancement, P.O. Box, Nazareth, Ky. Arrangements by T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME.
