Sherry Puszakowski
Age 70, of Cranberry Twp., passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at her home. Daughter of the late John Vickers Sr. And Marion (McCready) Vickers; Beloved wife of Butch Puszakowski, whom she married on 6/15/1974; loving mother of Maria (Justin) Wroblewski, and Joseph Puszakowski; GiGi of Ayla, JJ, Joey, Sophia, Khilyn; Sister of Joy (Tom) Gravelle, Troy Vickers, Hope Vickers, Lucia Vickers, Paul (Cynthia) McPeak, Christopher (Susan) McPeak, Kelly Jones and the late Oliver Vickers, Tony McPeak, Frank Vickers, Kerry Vickers, Faith Vickers, Harry Vickers, John Vickers Jr., Patrick Vickers, Mark Vickers, Adam Vickers, Roselia Rose.
Anyone who met Sherry knew of her love for Jesus. She was bold in her faith and loved those around her fiercely. Sherry was active in church, leading Bible studies and teaching Sunday School.
You would always find her on the dance floor during weddings and parties. She loved butterflies and watching the hummingbirds come to her window. She loved to go on cruises with her beloved husband, Butch of 49 years. She loved to cook, bake and craft. But her favorite role was being called Gigi. Her grandchildren gave her great joy.
Sherry was a homemaker but enjoyed being a sales consultant for several companies through the years. She had sold Tupperware, Current, Christmas around the world and more. She also had her own candy business selling chocolates for Easter and Christmas.
Family and friends are welcome on Monday from 2-4, 6-8 pm at Devlin Funeral Home of Cranberry Twp., 2678 Rochester Road, Cranberry Twp. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Jim Boyd, and Sherry’s daughter, Maria.

My heart breaks for the family. I adopted my dog, Angel, from Sherry and Butch in 2017. I only met her once for a few hours but she asked to stay in touch. I went to Facebook today to send an update and noticed she’s not with us anyway. May her amazing soul rest in peace.
