We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Sheila Fichter age 58 of North Hills on October 6th 2022. Sheila passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Daughter of Ronald and the late Phyllis (Colaizzi) Maier. Sister of Theresa (William) Gerst, and Ron (Julie) Maier. Loving mother of the late Michael Wanner, Danielle (Aaron Thompson) Fichter, and William (Paige) Fichter. Proud Maw Maw of McKenna, Jordan, Adalynn, Amiyah, Cassius, and Ophelia. Sheila also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Sheila was a strong and independent woman. She was always ready for an adventure. She was a fearless entrepreneur, amazing cook, and most of all a dedicated mother/grandmother. Passionate about life, loved deeply, and a friend to all that knew her. Her loss will leave a hole in many hearts.
Funeral arrangements have been made at Devlin’s Funeral Home: 806 Perry Highway Pittsburgh, PA 15229. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 13th 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Funeral service will be held Friday October 14th starting at 9am at Devlin’s. Church service will be held at Northgate Church at 10am and followed by a post funeral reception at West View Fireman’s Banquet Hall 11:30-3:30pm. All friends and family are welcome.
