Seth P. Miller
Age 54, of Ross Township passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025. Loving son of Suzanne Van Vort and Barry Miller (Carol); beloved brother of Doreen Miller-Richard (Scott), proud father of Seth ‘Jake’ Miller and step-sisters Susan Patnesky (Matt) and Sharon Smith (Dale). He is survived by numerous family and friends.

Seth graduated from North Allegheny High School and attended Kent University. He was a dedicated employee for 18 years at PepsiCo in Moon Township. In Seth’s spare time, he liked to hunt and spend time with his friends. He was notorious for screaming at the TV when the Steelers and Pirates under-performed. He loved all sports, especially the Phillies.

Seth had a huge heart and would do anything for his family and friends. He would often stop and help out a stranger if they were in need. He was honored to attend all his friend’s children’s activities and encouraged them like an ‘Uncle’ would do.

He will be extremely missed by all who were touched by him.

Family and friends are welcome on Saturday from 10 am until 11:50 am at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., North Hills. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh (www.dsapgh.org) 2211 Lesnett Road, Unit 12864, Pittsburgh, PA, 15241 Please be sure to include a note that the contribution is in memory of Seth.

    Dearest Suzanne, Dee and Barry,

Seth was truly a light in the darkness. His zest for life was incomparable. My favorite memories are “sneaking” off with him to have a siggie “smoke” where no-one could “see” us. Knowing full well that we weren’t fooling anyone. The laughter at the shinaningans praying that we wouldn’t be caught was a huge source of laughter! Seth would always say… Fuck it…. Just have fun Nik. He will be sorely used but for sure heaven has gained another character! My Dad and Seth are clicking their glasses and waiting for our arrival! Woohoo… what ride! Seth….. we love you! Till we meet again…Nik😘

So very sad to know I will never again hear your voice, get a big bear hug from you. I still can’t process the news. I am sincerely sorry you passed alone. Breaks my heart, if I had known I could have been with you. So greatful for your friendship and love over the years. Be at peace, enjoy heavenly peace. No more over time! You were always so kind and such a good listener. I regret not being more available. XOXO
