In her 80th year, of Ohio Township, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, April 14, 2022.
Sonie is the beloved wife for 62 years of John R. “Jack” Hess, Jr; The loving mother of John M. (Terri) Hess and Rhoda Hess; Proud grandmother of J.R. Hess (Aly), Caitlyn Tangradi (Eric), Michael (Alexa) Hess, Sonie Shanley, Thomas Shanley, and Michael Shanley; Cherished great grandmother of Kennedy Tangradi, Carter Tangradi, Adalynn Hess and John R. Hess; She is preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Mildred Leon; and her brother George Leon. She is survived by loving relatives and countless friends.
Friends will be received on Monday 2-4 & 6-8PM at Devlin Funeral Home, 806 Perry Hwy., Ross Twp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be in Sts. John and Paul Church, 2586 Wexford Bayne Rd., Sewickley, PA 15143 with Father Joseph Carr as celebrant.
