Of Ross Twp., on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Born October 15, 1932, in Baltimore, MD. Son of the late Jacob and Ida Tender; beloved husband of the late Mary Ann (Luffey) Tender; loving father of Diane McMurray (Bud Haney), Jacki L. Pahler (Gregg) and the late Barb M. Ritchey; brother of the late Samuel Tender and Marie Henniquan; proud grandfather of Monica Ritchey (Jeff Gartley), David Ritchey, Jimmy McMurray, Mike McMurray, Jessica McMurray (Brian Kisling) and Kyle Pahler; great-grandfather of Gianna, Morgan and Rilynn; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Jack served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was also a member of Teamster Local # 249. He was often coined “Jack of all trades”. He could fix and build most anything. Hobbies of his included hunting, camping, boating and poker. He was an extremely active man and enjoyed being a member of various bowling, volleyball and softball teams, even through his late years. He especially enjoyed precious time with family and friends. Friends are invited to celebrate Jack’s life on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 2-4 and 6 until time of prayer at 7:30 pm at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, North Hills.
