Ruth S. (Charlton) Schroeder, of Ross Township, died Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009. She was the wife of the late Charles B. Schroeder; loving mother of Mark E. (Kathy R.) Schroeder, Marcia J. (Gerald W.) Smith, Matthew R. (Julie A.) Schroeder, Michael C. Schroeder and Marilyn R. (Mark W.) Dawson; sister of Robert C. Charlton and the late Charles P. Charlton; grandmother of Thomas and Joseph Schroeder, Melissa (James) Compher, Daniel Smith, Stefanie, Jennifer and Ryan Schroeder; and great-grandmother of Taylor Compher. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at T.B. DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME, 806 Perry Highway. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Teresa of Avila Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association or the America Diabetes Association.

To The Family, I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I have delivered meals on wheels to your mom for the past 13 years and she was such a special women. I always looked forward to my visits to her.
